Officially adopted by Rotary International in 1971, RYLA is one of the most significant and fastest-growing programs of Rotary service. Each year, thousands of young people take part in the program worldwide. The impact spreads further as the program influences other young people, and RYLA programs often lead to the formation or strengthening of Rotaract and Interact clubs.
The Rotary Club of Townsville Sunrise has, on behalf of and in co-operation with other group 6 clubs conducted the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards camp (RYLA).
North Queensland Executive Training (NQET) has been the Company that has delivered this training program for many years.
The official Rotary Guide was used as the original basis for planning. This and other useful information can be downloaded from the Rotary International website here.
